How To Request Funding

General Guidelines   

1.    The Fund will focus on community, education, and children that have needs in the communities where we live and work.

2.    Schmidt Community Fund is a matching foundation. For any requests for funds, the requesting party must be willing to match the requested donation amount.

3.    The Fund will only provide matching funding when the requesting party is personally vested in the entity with his or her personal time. 

4.    The focus of the Fund does not cover Natural Disaster relief.

Submission Guidelines

1.    Selection process for receiving parties is via application submitted to give@schmidtcommunityfund.org. The application can be downloaded here or below.

 2.    The Board of Directors review requests once a month. Submissions will be notified within 1 week of selection meeting. Rejections will be notified via email and accepted requests will be notified via email.

3.    Repeated requests can occur after 6 months have passed since previous rejection or acceptance.

4.    Types of acceptable requests include, but are not limited to:

a.    Public & Private School Education

b.    Children Sports and Enrichment Programs

c.    Community Stewardship Programs
